This house is sheltered by large pines and just off the trail-head for miles of hiking, biking and ATV fun. It is up the hill from Georgetown Lake and around the corner from fine dining, shopping and unique museums. Comfortably sleeps as many as 8 adults and luxuriously accommodates fewer. Features include a large, nicely equipped kitchen, expansive common areas, hot tub, laundry, heated double-car garage, Wi-Fi access and dramatic views.

The owner lives in Georgetown and I am responsive to guest's needs. Let me know of anything I can do to make your stay even more special.

Tons of space for two families, we loved the variety of sleeping arrangements for our needs. The house came stocked with pantry items like coffee, ketchup, etc. Frank was very helpful with the access instructions for the property as well. Great home, would definitely stay again!

The home was beautifully maintained and exactly as pictured. The décor was cozy and reflected the Colorado mountain vibe perfectly. It was well-stocked—from kitchen essentials to other useful items. Perfect location for hiking, skiing, or just relaxing in nature and close to great restaurants and shops. The hot tub was a highlight after long days of exploring. Great layout for families or groups—plenty of space to spread out. The host was responsive, friendly and check-in was seamless, and communication was top-notch.

Spacious Mountain Retreat

Great place to stay in Georgetown, CO. We came up for the weekend to do some hiking in the area. The host sent us the door code and directions ahead of time, which made it super easy to get there and get settled. We really appreciated the number of beds as we had ten of us there! And the large, well-stocked kitchen and dining area were also great.

Sprimg Break Ski trip

We had 2 adults and 5 boys. Plenty of room to spread out and the house is even more lovely than the pictures. Pool table and hot tub were a hit with the kids. Kitchen was a hit with the mom. Really like staying in Georgetown- cool little mointain town.

Great for Ski Trip with Friends and Family

8 adults and 6 kids stayed here and the place was plenty big. Probably could have squeezed in another 4 adults and 4 kids with the amount of beds. Frank has the house WELL stocked with everything you could need from movies to board games to candles for mood light in the tub to a pack and play for the babies to condiments in the fridge and pantry. It was wonderful. And that's not to mention that Frank showed up while we were gone skiing to shovel the driveway even though we told him it wasn't necessary.

Georgetown stay

Such a wonderful experience at the Saxton mountain retreat. We stayed over Christmas and the cabin with the snow was magical. The owners made sure we were comfortable and even cleared the driveway prior to us leaving. Super thoughtful. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the Saxon Mtn retreat. It is a great location. The house is loaded with supplies and very very beautiful with all of the windows appreciating the outdoors! Lovely house!! Great location!

Great winter retreat!

Special gem of a spot

This house is so lovely and unique - gorgeous layout and design with plenty of skylights and large windows to bathe it in natural light. There are lots of nooks and crannies to spread out and hang out without being on top of each other. Lots of bathrooms and sleeping arrangements to keep everyone comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with essentials and extras (we made use of the pancake griddle and crockpots). The hot tub view of the mountainside is lovely. Lots of hiking right out the door without having to get in the car, and plenty of skiing and trails within a short drive. Frank was a great host, communicating everything we needed clearly and being available if we needed anything - which we didn't! Loved this house, and we plan to come back.
