We like staying here while visiting the hot springs and Beau Jo’s pizza. It’s very clean and the amenities are what you pay for. The location next to the river makes it a hidden gem.

I’ve stayed at Argo about 6 times and I love it. It’s dated and showing wear, but sleeping with the sliding door open and listening to clear creek roll by is amazing. Despite the wear and tear it’s clean, and I’ll always plan on staying when heading into the mountains from KC.

The room and beds were very comfortable. Nice big room with a balcony that faced the river. Very enjoyable in the morning for a few minutes of relaxing. Also, nice area of the property that you can walk to the river and have a seat in a few chairs. The Argo is within walking distance to a few restaurants. Price during the week was very reasonable. We would stay there again if in the area.

As other reviews have stated, the hotel needs some updating. Some paint would really make a difference. BUT, having Clear Creek right there was perfect! The sound of the water was very calming. The beds were comfy, but they need new pillows (we brought some).

Parking was easy, no pool not enough restroom supplies such as shampoo and soap, so upset that we couldn't get to grill any meats that we prepared but I would not blame the Hotel this is the city's rule.
