This was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. The host is an absolute gem -- he picked me up from the train station and made sure I had everything I needed for my month-long stay. The communication was instant and always helpful. In the apartment he has pretty video everything you'll need -- from a dozen folders of places to visit in Genova (along with guides and maps), to extra water, yogurt, TP, etc. In addition the apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything from extra towels, kitchen towels, tissues, cotton balls, shampoo and soap, scissors, extra chargers -- the host had thought of everything. The apartment is spacious with a separate living room, kitchen and bedroom. The apartment is located in a beautiful residential neighborhood with a stunning vista a dceasy access to downtown and the port by bus #35 which runs frequently. There are not a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood but there is a friendly bar around the corner for both caffè and aperitivi. Giorgio is truly a wonderful host and I can't wait to return to this apartment and to the city.

Wonderful apartment in Genova

This immaculate property offered excellent location and amenities. Our host was extremely accommodating and helpful. We walked extensively however bus and taxi were easily accessible. I would highly recommend this property for a stay in Genova!

Elegant Apartment in a Beautiful City

This is a very spacious and tastefully decorated apartment. A lovely space to come back to after a tiring day exploring the city, and just as nice to stay in when it rains. Immaculately clean, and perfectly appointed - everything the traveller needs for a comfortable stay in Genoa. When we come back to this region of Italy, we would definitely want to rent this apartment again. Giorgio is a warm and welcoming host, who will make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Perfect apartment and hosts for our stay in Genoa

This is our first trip to Italy and we found the location of the apartment to be perfect near to Genoa centre and all the fabulous sights to visit. It was made all the more special by our lovely hosts Giorgio & Linda who couldn't have done more to help us. Giorgio collected us from the airport to the apartment, showed us around and gave us directions to many of the wonderful amenities in Genoa. The apartment is more spacious than the information/photos show and has all the facilities needed to make it a restful stay, including a very comfortable bed. We loved the place and will return soon to spend more happy days in Genoa.

Wonderful apartment

We enjoyed our stay immensely at Giorgio’s beautiful apartment. It was very clean, well equipped, very comfortable to relax in and a very comfortable bed. We would definitely stay there again. Giorgio and his daughter Christina were extremely welcoming and accommodating.

Clean, comfortable & convenient home base for exploring Genova

This apartment was ideal for us and our first time visit to Genova. Pre-planning communication with Giogio helped us prepare for the trip and the check-in was great. Christina was amazing in coming to meet us and help us to explore Genova as well as staying in touch throughout our stay. The apartment was very clean and has all the amenities needed for a very comfortable stay. The bus #35 just outside the door was super convenient to get around. We definitely recommend this place that is located in a nice, safe & quiet area. We look forward to another visit in the future.

Lovely Stay

Nice, quiet location and on the first floor, so easy access. Comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen. Able to do laundry, which was a bonus! The living area was also comfy. Nearby park with great views of ancient walls and arc d’ triumph. Good restaurants and easy to walk all around. It is a city of hills, so must be ok with many steps. We loved Genoa! Great UNESCO sites to explore.

Great time in Genoa

Giorgio was a wonderful host as well as his daughter. He was so kind to pick us up from the airport and take us to the Port at the of our stay it was great. Good location close to the bus stops restaurants and markets all walking distance easy. Only issue we had was a circuit blew out on a Sunday but Giorgio was on it immediately and got a technician out on a Sunday to fix it quickly. The apartment was VERY clean and the beds were good. Thank you Giorgio for making our week in Genoa great!

Clean flat in a good location!

We enjoyed our stay in Genova and at this property. The location was excellent and close to everything. The flat was spacious and clean and the kitchen was fully equipped with some goodies like coffee and bottles water left for our use. Giorgio and family were most gracious and helpful. We will stay here again.

Best Accommodation in our 11 months in Europe

Everything worked so well in this apartment. The communication was first class and fast. The little extras provided like olive oil, and a few grocery items to get you started. The tourist information provided was first class and better than most city ones. The apartment was quit and is well located with a bus just around the corner. Highly recommended we will be back.

A home away from home

Giorgio and his daughter Cristina welcomed use and made us feel most welcome. They could not have done more for us. The apartment had everything you might need and had a homely feel. Giorgio provide plenty of extras which were much appreciated. The bus stop is about 100 mtrs from the front door and you need it as Genoa is quite hilly. We were surprised by Genoa and really enjoyed our stay. We were able to park our car in a secure parking garage a short distance from the apartment. We would highly recommend a meal at Nonna Leo’s - details can be found on TripAdvisor. A great night with Fabrizio the chef.

City Center - Excellent choice!

There is a long list of good things about this apartment. It is an excellent choice! Giorgio, Linda and Cristina are fluent in Italian, Spanish and English. The apartment has been entirely renovated, furnished with good taste, and new appliances. You will find literally everything to feel at home. The apartment is strategically located in Carignano neighborhood: easy access southbound to the Corso Italia – a lovely 4 km passeggiata next to the Mediterranean sea with coffee shops, restaurants and disco bars. North eastbound to via XX Settembre there are nice shops and at the Genova Brignole train station you can take a short trip to visit the Nervi parks and valleys. North westbound, you can visit Piazza Di Ferrari and Porto Antico. From here, there are short ferry tours along the Golfo Paradiso. I love to walk and jog, so everything was at walking distance from Giorgio’s apartment. It is right in the center of the city. If you don’t like to walk, the bus stop is at less than 100 m away. Ah, no train or bus ticket?... No hassle !...Giorgio left a booklet of 10 tickets in the kitchen for you. Genova has a lot to offer, spend at least a week ! Orazio S.

Beautiful Apartment

This apartment is lovely. Very modern, spotless, comfortable and convenient. The owner and his daughter were so helpful. Giorgio met us at the airport, gave us a quick tour around Genoa and even drove us to cruise terminal at the end of our stay. Apartment was close to bus stop and was very easy to get to center of town and historic sites. Grocery store was fairly close and apartment had everything necessary for preparing easy meals. We recommend apartment for short or longer stays.

Georgio and Christina, had all the comforts of home available to us. Georgio pick us up and dropped us at the train station. They gave us the best directions to see the sights and just generally get around. We were there 5 nights and we knew our way around in no time The appartment was clean and much larger then we expected. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely apartment walking distance to town centre

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. Georgio a great host very kindly met us at the airport and returned us there as well. All the basics are included and apartment is lovely and clean. Easy walk to town centre and marina although quite a few hills/steps. Really cannot find a fault and would definitely recommend to others/stay again.

The area is beautiful! Fantastic views of all Genova, wide tree lined walkways and parks.

Incredible property, excellent location, friendly and attentive hosts.

My wife and I spent the entire month of April at this location and the experience was fantastic. Over the last few years we have rented various VRBO/Homeaway apartments and houses in the U.S. and Italy, and this one is by far the best -- the cleanest, best maintained, best furnished, at a great location in a quiet, pleasant residential neighborhood with taxi and bus stops just a few steps from the front door. 5-10 minutes to the center of Genova by bus. The hosts, Giorgio and Linda, have mastered every conceivable way to present their property and to make their clients comfortable. A fantastic value.

Great VRBO property. Owners had coffee, milk and a few other supplies waiting for us. Only downside was there is no shower. My 6’3” husband had a hard time trying to shower using the hand nozzle.

We had a lovely stay at Giorgio’s apartment, even though we missed him at the train station he did try to pick us up! He kindly picked us up and drove us back. Giorgio and his daughter Christine were very helpful with maps, brochures etc. And even gave us a phone that we could call them if we needed them. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. They supplied us with coffe, tea, bread butter jam etc. We were very pleased with our stay

An elegant and comfortable apartment in a quiet location within easy reach of Genoa city centre.

My parents in law stayed in early June and were delighted with the style and elegance of the apartment. The beds and the seating were very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. They had all they needed for a comfortable stay and commented that they would have been happy to live there. Georgio met them at the airport and delivered them back at the end of their stay. He also kept in touch with me so that I knew all was well. He answered their questions about the area and told them where to go to shop for food. If you are interested in history, the arts and culture then Genoa is a wonderful city to stay in. They recommended the Maritime Museum and the lively re built sea front, Palazzo Rosso and Blanca and many beautiful churches. All the main attractions are within easy reach of the apartment by public transport. There are many good restaurants in the centre of Genoa which are open at lunchtime but they found that it was difficult to find good restaurants which were open in the evenings close to the property. Genoa is a very Italian city and that is part of it's charm so do not expect to find people speaking English. Thank you, Georgio, for your kindness and hospitality. I would like to highly recommend your wonderful apartment.

Awesome owner. Perfect location. Apartment completely updated with everything we needed.

Wish every VRBO rental came with a "Georgio." He and his red umbrella met us at the airport; introduced us to Genoa; even took us to the train station when we departed. The apartment was new, having been completely updated. The kitchen had new equipment (even had a Bosch dishwasher) and was stocked with the "necessities," including coffee and tea. Great layout with separate living room and kitchen. It was located in a very quiet area and had the convenience of a market 2 blocks away and a bus stop around the corner. Great! For us, this is definitely the place to stay in Genoa.

Wonderful accommodation and perfect location

My friend and I spent a couple of days in this beautiful apartment. Upon our arrival the owner Giorgio was kind enough to pick us up at train station with a red umbrella in hand for easy identification. The apartment is very spacious, exceptionally clean and is nicely furnished. Incredible prime location with easy access to public transportation and local attractions. The owner Giorgio was so easy to deal with and promptly answered all our questions as well as a mini tour of the area. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this lovely apartment. Perfect Apartment

The apartment was perfect in every way. Giorgio and his family were most helpful in picking us up from the station and driving us back. There was plenty of pantry items in the kitchen and every appliance you could possibly need. Also plenty of information on places to visit in Genoa and all along the Italian Riviera coast. Location was within walking distance to all major attractions in old central Genoa with its fabulous palaces, birth place of Christopher Columbus and the wonderful Porto Antico. Also close to Brignole railway station for day trips to places along the coast. A couple of these we were really taken with were Nervi, Camogli and Boccadassi. After exploring all day it was a treat to come back to such a beautiful apartment and relax.

Siamo stati ricevuti dal proprietario e sua moglie che si sono preoccupati di farci avere tutte le informazioni per un facile soggiorno. Hanno pensato anche ad una bottiglia di Chardonnay e ai tipici biscotti di Genova. L'appartamento ha un ottima vivibilità, è fornito di ogni comfort, pulitissimo ed accogliente. È situato in posizione tranquilla ed allo stesso tempo vicina al centro della città, facendo si che ci si possa muovere a piedi in qualsiasi direzione. L'augurio che possiamo fare ai proprietari è di avere ospiti che siano attenti alle particolarità che l'alloggio esprime. Nell'eventualità di una nuova visita a Genova torneremmo volentieri in questo appartamento. Sehr sauberes und schoenes Apartment in ruhiger und doch guenstiger Lage um Genua und seine Schaetze fast ausschliesslich zu Fuss zu entdecken. Sehr freundliche Eigentuemer, jederzeit erreichbar mit vielen Anregungen fuer einen perfekten Aufenthalt. Sehr empfehlenswert.
