Bed comfy, room quiet. Pleasantly surprised there was makeup remover, since I had left mine at home. Desk staff did a nice job. And the Halloween pumpkin contest was a nice touch!

Hot tub was not working when we checked in but maintenance came & got it running. One of the main reasons we like staying there. The hot tub & brrakfast is always the best

My partner is arthritic. We selected this hotel because it has a hot tub, indoor pool and full bath tub. Just prior to our arrival, I received a message the hot tub and pool were not available. Joan was disappointed about the pool/hot tub situation. but there was a tub as last resort. Or so she thought. The tub drain was adjusted so that it would not close, rendering the shower as the only option. Needless to say, she spent most of the stay in pain and I had to listen to it ever since, making my stay less than pleasurable as well.

The property was a typical Holiday Inn Express. However, we did not get housekeeping even though we put the sign on the door. Breakfast was served until 10 but at 9:30 most of the fresh food was gone with no replenishment including the pancake maker.

Bathroom tile floor dirty,,,,stepped in something and cleaned it up with tissues. Shower curtain up wrong side out - 2 queen beds. Comforter wrinkled as could be but clean. When I turned the bed down the fitted sheet wasn't all the way on and the top sheet was half way down the bed. The kicker was the laminated card with Sylvia's name on it giving a QR code to leave her a tip! Breakfast choices good but fritata wasn't warm so I left it. Rest of breakfast was good.

Highly recommend staying here as your home base to the area. Safe, clean hotel in quiet area. The staff is friendly and helpful. As a side note- it is not far from downtown water area but I would not consider it within walking distance.

I usually stay in Hilton hotels. My last experience with a Hampton Inn was not great so I opted for Holiday Inn instead. I’m glad that I did. The room was clean and comfortable. Faith was the cleaning person and she really did a great job.
