Really friendly and helpful staff. Location was really convenient for everything as hotel is very central. Small convenience stores and an abundance of different eateries dotted throughout the area. Area steeped in history, loads to admire and investigate on the doorstep. View from the 4th floor window was an array of beautiful buildings on the long market. Windows fairly soundproofed considering how busy an area it is in. Room was minimalist and spacious. We did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment on breakfast offering. Only disappointments were that there were no pillow protectors and the mattress protector was smaller than the mattress, therefore not covering it completely. Bathroom porcelain was clean however stained around the shower area with watermarks and found a silverfish in the sink one day.

OK, not as good as previous stay

Check in was at 3pm we arrived at 2.05pm and was told by the gentleman we could check in early for an extra 50zl (£10ish), this automatically put me on the back foot, the room must have been ready, normally staff just say come back after 3pm. We came back and checked in with a lovely young lady. Room was spacious but single beds were uncomfortable. Great shower, toiletries provided. Breakfast was nothing like as good as February when I stayed last time, so disappointed with that. The location of the hotel is perfect, the one thing it lacks is a lounge area to sit and relax in.

Hotel itself was really nice. Staff were friendly. I was on the 4th Floor room looked out onto Main Street. Could hear everything outside. To say the noise was bad is an understatement! Felt like I was sitting in a bar. This continued around till 5 am. Couldn’t sleep at all. Was absolutely wiped out, through lack of sleep. Ruined the stay. Other than that hotel was really nice.

The position of this hotel is less than a minute from the old town. It is spotlessly clean and rooms are attended to daily if required. The staff are all friendly, helpful and approachable. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel and if I return to Gdansk it would be my first choice!
