Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Staff are rude- they make you feel stupid for asking simple questions. Room doesn’t get cleaned unless you put a tag on the door which we were provided in our room. Used the spa facilities and there were only 3 changing cubicles which men, women and children were allowed to use. Also, no clear signs to tell you which way is the spa in the changing room so I watched a man walk through the women’s showers in hopes he would end up in the spa area. One of the steam rooms was not working. To top it all off, the reception staff rang our hotel room telephone to ask us to return the wristband for the spa. Wouldn’t be an issue if this was done with some common sense- they rang after 9pm (after the spa has closed) to ask for this wristband. Baring in mind, we were running on 3 hours of sleep, spent all day walking around the city and just wanted a relaxing evening in the spa before we headed to our room to go to sleep. Did not need to call us and wake us up for a wristband they didn’t need until the morning after. And not to mention, there were far too many people let in at once into the spa for it to be classed as ‘relaxing’. I’d say it was organized chaos. There was a trolley for dirty dishes by the lifts which had the same dirty dishes on all weekend round. I would not recommend anyone coming here, you’re better off spending the same money in a much nicer hotel. This hotel presents itself with luxury but it’s just a glamorized premier inn. Simply, don’t come here.
