Great Hotel on the Outskirts of Gdańsk

My stay here was excellent because the staff are extremely welcoming and there are a range of services available to guests. It is around a kilometre away from the city but there are plenty of shops and a couple of restaurants even for those that do not want to walk as much.

A very nice hotel close to city centre. Only minus was that it was very thin walls in hotel room, so it was a lot of noise from neighbour rooms. A baby on one side, and big group of boys partying on the other side. Except from that nice staff and very clean!

Staff was by far the best thing in the hotel. Absolutely fantastic staff. The hotel is not at walking distance from downtown, but super easy bus access. Surprisingly, the rooms were not made through our stay. Not bad. Breakfast was very good. Awful internet service.

This is a very dated and spartan hotel situated a couple of km from Gdansk old town. Would not recommend to stay here. Not a nice area and the highway just outside the hotel is very loud and busy. Very old, hard and squiky beds, the rooms/hotel has probably not been renovated in 30+ years. Sloppy cleaning and no lobby or common areas at all in the hotel. The breakfast was actually decent and fresh though and the staff in the breakfast restaurant was nice and helpful.

Not so good breakfast regarding choices of food etc. First day it took ca 30min before i could have a coffee because of broken machines. Have been on many hotels. It was the simplest breakfast i have seen. Started to buy my own coffee. Very good coffee on the gas station close to the Hotel :) Bed sheet had a stain of something that looked like blod. The top sheet. Other than that the room was clean. The bed was pretty hard. I didnt like it.

Claimed Wifi and A/C, but wifi was 6MB/s download - 2MB/s upload speeds often kicking you off wifi, barley good enough to pull up maps. While there is A/C in the rooms; it barely blows any air, I had to sleep with windows open. Location was mildly inconvenient, I ended up walking 6.4km minimum daily for a week to get into and out of Gdansk. Was told they'll do a laundry service, but you can't do it same day and it'll cost €25 for a small load. I ended up walking 2km to a 24hr laundromat and washed my clothes for €7 same day. Rooms have dents and scuff marks everywhere and fixtures and furniture were starting to fall apart, lots of stuff was loose in the room.

Rent och fräscht rum, enkelt men funktionellt. Lite väl hård säng för min smak och platt/tunn kudde. Frukostutbudet helt ok - gott kaffe! Har man celiaki eller problem med gluten blir det väl torftigt. Det finns youghurt, nötter mm samt ägg men de stekta/ångade äggen har fått stå alldeles för länge så de blir oätbara. Ca 20 min promenad in till stan, fungerar bra men det är inte den roligaste vägen. Finns en fin naturpromenad i närheten.
