This was a great place for a weekend getaway with friends. Very clean, plenty of space, comfy beds, and beautiful lake views. Host was very responsive and easy to work with. We would definitely stay at this property again.

The property was lovely! Brendan was a fantastic host. Check in was very easy. The house is immaculate and very clean. My friends and I had a great time for a quick weekend trip. We have all already talked about coming back either sometime in the summer or for another winter trip. For folks looking for a nice relaxing spot, look no further!! I’m sure it would be a great spot for ice fishing when the ice is on. It’s not too far from Treetops or Otsego Resort, which makes for a great stay if you’re looking to go to multiple skiing, snowboarding, and tubing spots. I think this property would be great in the summer time as it is right on Dixon lake and near many great golf courses.

Amazing place! We enjoyed all the water toys and yard games. The house was perfect, clean, lots of cookware and seating. Close to downtown Gaylord for shopping and dining. Highly recommend.

Perfect Up North Retreat!

There was ample amount of communication with Brendan - including an online guide book to review ahead of time as well as it being printed out for you upon arrival! Rooms were spacious, plenty of towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner. We loved the available coffee and additives and the cute s’mores kit they provide. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the lake! We rented a pontoon for our trip and the dock was perfect for it! We utilized the paddle boards, paddle boat and kayaks! Played corn hole and bucket golf - you don’t even have to leave the house! It was super clean, beds were comfy and fit my family of 6 and 2 dogs perfectly with extra space! Definitely recommend and would love to come back

This home was absolutely immaculate and spacious with amazing access to the lake. It had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy, the shower in the master bath was huge! We enjoyed our time there with family and only left to get groceries or hit up Alpenfest.Our stay overall was the best we've had and we made memories to last a lifetime.

Bigfoot Lodge

8 adults went for the weekend for a local wedding across the lake at Sojourn. That facility was booked up. The Bigfoot Lodge was a FANTASTIC alternative, and I would say even better than staying on site. The rooms were clean. The firepit in the backyard was perfect - wood and starter bundles ready to go! There is a dock with lake toys to utilize. We rented a pontoon boat for transport to and from the wedding across the lake - able to tie up at the dock without issue. The property manager was reachable at all times. I would ABSOLUTELY utilize this place again. Without a doubt one of the best properties we have stayed at.
