Great welcome - was upgraded to a superior room thanks to my Expedia membership, and also treated to a 20% discount voucher on food and drinks. The room itself was perfect, nice size, good shower room, and superlative quality sheets. Quiet, all perfect other than one lift being out of order but the hotel wasn’t busy. Location is great, only a 2mn walk vis a tunnel to the terminal. This was my 2nd stay and will happily do so again.

Hotel was ok, not worth the price. Previously stayed at the Bloc which was closer and more convenient. The train between terminals was good and fairly quick. Worst part of the stay was the service. The parking should be subsidised for guests, the man working on reception said I did not need my parking ticket to be validated and therefore I was significantly over charged for parking. When I complained to reception they were unhelpful, admitted the ticket should have been validated, but said the only way to get my money back was to complain via the website. Shocking customer service. My recommendation is to go to the Premier Inn next-door or The Bloc, better service and value for money.

Easy access from North Terminal and the airport shuttle train 'station'. Quick and easy checking, they offered a wake up call for my early flight which was very much appreciated. The proximity to the airport made the early flight very easy & stress free.

Everything about the stay was perfect! The staff were efficient, courteous and friendly. The food menus looked great although I had already eaten disappointingly. Theon was great - a good size with a comfortable bed. Bathroom super and the best hotel shower I have had in a long time. Having not stayed here before I will definitely returning before my next Gatwick flight. Well done!
