Great location and very comfortable but let down by a couple of silly things. Sofabed couches that were collapsed in the middle and uncomfortable to sit on, threadbare towels and no tea or coffee in the kitchen. I expected better for the price but it didn’t spoil our experience and we had a lovely restful weekend beside the beach.

The front door was broken, the curtains were hanging off in places, the kitchen windows couldn't be opened and the handle broken, the couches were grubby, the outdoor space in the back was unmaintained, grubby covered in weeds, old cigarette butts and had a random door in it, the outdoor front area was grubby and unkempt, long grass not suitable for kids to play. The pool in the hotel is a walkable distance but you have to play to enter €5/child, €12/adult which was not stated when booking. 2 bathrooms both with shelves broken from the mirror, guests nextdoor were shouting and fighting for hours- when I contacted the property at midnight nothing was done and then property manager rang me twice at 4am!! Not worth the money which is a shame as the beach and location is beautiful. Also the welcome booklet with guest information was all torn and shabby. Very disappointing.

It was a very spacious, quiet home that fit our group of 5 comfortably. Such a beautiful view of the countryside from our bedroom windows. Our host, Marie, was more than gracious with our smooth transition with check-in the first day. She provided us with multiple suggestions and brochures of things to do in the area. We took her advice, and the days we spent there turned out to be overwhelmingly fantastic. Highly recommend.=D

Peaceful Clean Great location

Great location only two minutes walk to the beach, very peaceful location. Friendly local pub some nights there is traditional Irish music. For a small fee use of fitness and swimming pool at Garryvoe Hotel. Accommodation is Modern bright and very clean, beds very comfortable. Owners really nice people with lots of local knowledge.
