Welcome to the Alberta vacation apartment! Located in the center of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, on the second floor of a residential and commercial building, a spacious 2-room apartment awaits you, which is ideal for two to four people.

Here you will find a bright, large living room with a comfortable sofa, armchair and dining area, ideal for relaxing evenings in front of the flat-screen cable TV or listening to music on the radio stereo system. If required, the sofa can be folded out and converted into a comfortable sleeping area for 2 people. The adjoining south-west-facing balcony is furnished with comfortable furniture and offers a fantastic view of the impressive Wetterstein massif and the Zugspitze - the perfect place to enjoy the sun and end the day.

The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired: From dishwasher, oven and microwave to coffee machine and toaster - everything is there to make you feel completely at home.

The separate bedroom offers a comfortable double bed for restful nights. The large couch in the living room can also be pulled out and offers sleeping accommodation for 2 more people. The modern bathroom has a shower, bathtub, washbasin and WC, as well as an additional guest WC. WLAN is of course available to you, as are a washing machine and dryer, which are available for communal use. A parking space is reserved for your vehicle in the underground garage.

The flat's location is ideal for short or long explorations of the town or the surrounding area: shops, restaurants and the local bus stop are just a few minutes' walk away. The historic Ludwigstraße with its lovingly painted houses and traditional Bavarian pubs is also very close by. For nature lovers, there are walking trails at the foot of the Wank, which offer marvellous views of Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the surrounding mountains.

Das Apartment war sehr schön, gemütlich und sauber wie auf den Bildern. Zwar ist die Lage sehr zentral in der Stadt auch an einer Hauptstrasse, davon bekommt man aber zum Glück kaum etwas mit, da alle Fenster und Balkone genau auf der anderen Seite mit Sicht auf die Berge sind. Es gibt eine Tiefgarage im Haus, die wir aber nur einmal genutzt haben, wenn es an der Strasse vor dem Haus keinen Parkplatz gab. Das Apartment ist geschmackvoll und gut eingerichtet und man fühlt sich schnell heimisch und wohl. Zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthalts gab es zwar ein Gerüst für laufende Fassadenarbeiten am Haus (weswegen die Sicht auf die Berge vom Balkon leicht behindert war) sowie auch einen defekten Fahrstuhl, doch die Agentur hat uns aus diesem Grund einen sehr großzügigen Nachlass gegeben und der Kontakt mit der Agentur war durchweg sehr freundlich. Der "reguläre" Preis des Apartments ist aus meiner Sicht etwas zu hoch gewesen, da wir nicht in der typischen Ferienzeit bzw. Hauptsaison da waren, sondern in der Nebensaison (Anfang Mai). Doch mit dem Sonderrabatt wegen den oben erwähnten Beeinträchtigungen war das allerdings mehr als ok.
