The kitchen is stocked for everything from morning coffee at the built-in coffee bar to a lakeside dinner, and the single bath keeps everyone refreshed. Central heat and air keep it just right year-round.

What a beautiful home! My family really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful little retreat. This home has a natural relaxing feeling due to the amazing lake view from the large deck. The rooms and amenities are laid out perfectly and make the home feel extremely comfortable. My son and I enjoyed using the kayaks out on the lake, and my wife and I enjoyed morning coffee with the cool morning breeze off of the lake. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in the KC metro. It is close enough to the city to be able to enjoy the city, but then easily slip away to this cozy home to relax. The property management and host were extremely easy to work with making the stay stress free.

The property is meticulous. The beds are incredibly comfortable. Well appointed kitchen with very nice amenities. The shower is amazing with excellent water pressure and big fluffy towels. Water front is lovely. It is much nicer than the listed pictures on VRBO. We commuted back and forth to Lawrence each day and it is a beautiful drive, within about 1/2 hour. Resulted in a quiet retreat instead of plain motel. Next time I would pack golf clubs as there is a nice course within a few blocks. I also would have brought our dog, he would have been very happy.
