Spacious holiday home in a traditional style. It is very attractively situated on a natural property by the Sandfjord, the northernmost salmon river in the world on the mainland. Lots of fish-rich waters and a great hiking trail for the whole family await you here. There are also Northern Lights in winter and the midnight sun in summer. The holiday home built in 2008 has an open kitchen / living area for family life as well as a bathroom with shower and a wood-fired sauna for max. 5 people. There is also a bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed and a dressing room / relaxation room. Upstairs in the attic there is a lounge area with a sitting area and three further bedrooms, two of them with a double bed and a couch, the third, larger with four single beds. The living area below is very cozy, furnished in a rustic style with a wall made of natural stone and a fireplace, which provides a nice atmosphere and cozy warmth on cooler days. Some international channels, including some German ones, are also available on TV. The house is located on a beautiful panoramic plot, only 150 m from the salmon river. The area is calm and relaxing. You can enjoy your coffee in the morning sun on the terrace area outside. In the evening you can experience the beautiful sunset by the sea or the reddish midnight sun in the night sky in spring and summer. In winter, the northern lights in their beautiful colors in the sky are a great sight. The Sandfjord is considered a good, small salmon river, with salmon from 1 to 9 kg in weight and also arctic char. Fishing is only possible with a fishing license from 1.6. until 1.8. allowed. There are around 400 fishing waters on the north chin peninsula with a good stock of trout and char, but you must first obtain a fishing license from the state (statens fiskekort).
