Quiet East End neighborhood with oak-lined streets and Victorian-era historic homes — yet only 4 blocks to the beach, 5mins to the Strand, UT Medical Center and cruise port. Whether you’re here for a weekend getaway, cruise vacation, or family trip, this peaceful yet central neighborhood offers the best of both worlds: quiet, residential comfort with easy access to Galveston’s beaches, dining, nightlife, and attractions.
▶ Parking:
Free street parking directly in front of the house (no driveway parking available). Usually plenty of street spaces available, but may be limited during special events. City does not permit RVs, boats, trailers, or oversized vehicles to park on the street.
▶ Guest Access & Shared Spaces
You'll have the entire bungalow to yourself. The back porch area (with gas BBQ and Adirondack chairs) is shared with any guests that might be staying at our Guest House Cottage. The Cottage is a completely separate unit behind the main house with it's own private entrance.
▶ Shared Amenities
Shared amenities include the BBQ and two bicycles with helmets (availability may vary). Each property also has one beach wagon and two beach chairs for guest use. Please use only the items assigned to your property and return them to their original locations so everyone can enjoy them.
▶ Minimum Age to Book:
We require the booking guest to be at least 21 years old and actually be staying at the property each night of the reservation.
▶ Historic Home:
This is a lovingly restored circa 1903 property—expect a blend of old-world character and modern updates.
▶ Beach Access:
The home is a short drive (or a 4 block walk) to the Seawall and Galveston’s beaches.
▶ Climate:
Galveston is humid and coastal—central air conditioning and ceiling fans are provided for your comfort.
▶ Pets:
We allow up to 2 adult dogs for $75 (no puppies). We don't accept any other animal type. Please be good pet parents and clean up after your pet.
▶ Safety Features:
Equipped with smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher and first aid kit.
▶ Food and beverages staged in some photos for inspiration only – not provided during your stay. We do provide a starter supply of coffee and tea.
▶ Security Devices:
For your security the property is equipped with exterior security cameras (no cameras inside). Tampering with, disabling, or obscuring cameras is prohibited and against Vrbo Policies.
▶ Security Deposits:
A refundable security deposit is required when booking and is automatically released 14 days after checkout if no damages are reported. Vrbo handles the deposit processing.
