We have stayed here twice, and it’s been great each time. You’re definitely not staying at the Ritz, but it’s also way cleaner, more kept, and safer than a disgusting motel in Galveston. Galveston is super hit or miss with h/motels. This place is affordable, clean, close to some spots, and RIGHT in front of the beach! Definitely will be back for a third time.

Check in clerk was disinterested, anti social, dismissive and rude. She was also quick to threaten towing vehicles if all paperwork wasn’t completed to her satisfaction. She readily abused her ‘position of authority’, was a joke! There are a number of other establishments in the area, I highly recommend any of them over this one.

The bed and sheets were clean and the floor but the shower was horrible. It was stained and moldy. The staff member was nice and helpful.
The mold on the corners were darker than they appear in the photo.
Beds looked clean.
The flower on the tissue was a nice touch.

AC could not maintain a stead and comfortable temperature. Yes, you expect to get what you pay for, but basic necessities such air conditioning should be serviceable. Additionally, lady at the front desk needs a course on basic proper interaction with visitors.

Can’t really complain about it for the price! But the pillows was a bit of a problem for me asked for an extra was told they didn’t have extras. But for a $100 bucks in the beach can’t really complain.

Room needs lots of repairs, shower head spraying all over the bathroom, light flickering at random, linens paper thin, mattresses horrible, breakfast was coffee and tiny muffins, staff that really did not want to be there, homeless guy helping himself to " breakfast", and a poster that said something to the effect that the property was under a court order by authority of the Galveston Police. Don't care how cheap it is, will never stay again!

Stayed here several times since Thanksgiving 2024, will stay again. Only knock is lack of parking when all rooms are taken. However the parking along hotel side of Seawall is free and available for use.

the location and price was excellent. Evening clerk was not friendly. Morning attendant was very friendly. Although the floor in the room was clean and new looking, the humidity caused the floor to be WET and slick. I had to put towels on the floor to prevent slipping when I got up during the night. Further, the new bathroom door would not close completely. The room price was excellent, though.

Though some may find issues with the quality of repairs and upkeep, there can be no complaints about cleanness and comfort. Very CLEAN!!!! bed, pillows, towels and sheets of good quality. Great Stay!
