"Seascape - Barefoot Bliss" is a beach lover's dream at the beachfront Seascape Condominiums! Unlike most condos in Galveston, Seascape is located directly on the beach, just west of the Seawall, there is no need to cross the busy street to feel the sand between your toes! This beach-side condo has incredible views of the sunrise over the ocean. Soak up the sights and sounds from your beach-facing balcony or relax by the swimming pool (heated year-round) and hot tubs. Condo sleeps 8 with king beds in the master and 2nd bedroom, bunk beds and a queen sleeper sofa. 2 full baths (one with bathtub and one walk in shower). Full kitchen w/stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, dishes & utensils and granite countertops. TVs in each bedroom, tile floors and newly updated decor. Cable and Wi-Fi access. Linens and towels provided. Ready to go to the beach? Beach towels are provided so no need to pack extras. There is also a storage closet you will have access to with beach chairs and sand toys for you to use. Complex features include: direct beach access, elevators, large pool heated year-round, kid’s pool, 2 hot tubs, BBQ pits and full-size coin-operated washer/dryers on several of the floors.

Please note that the HOA requires all guests to be counted towards occupancy, regardless of age, and guests must be at least 25 years old to rent this property. The host fee in the quote includes the cleaning fee and HOA nightly surcharge (parking).

Overall trip went well. Water in one of the bathroom tubs is slow to drain. The property reached expectations but for that premium price, value we get can be little more than what was offered. Renter's should not worry about parking every time we go out to eat, elevator is shaky and noisy. We would feel about 80% of bang for our buck with property so gave it a 4 star. . I would go with it again if no other premium options are available.

This property was dirty when we arrived with sand on the floor and a lot of red hair that we cleaned up and the balcony was dirty, including the pillows, and the dressers were broken. We will say the beds were comfortable, and the view was good. We contacted the manager and she told us the dressers were not to be used and that the place was clean and we were wrong. We requested to leave and she reimbursed our money and we are very unhappy with what happened. I also contacted VRBO at the time and got no response. It is highly unlikely that we will use VRBO again.

Family getaway

My family (me, wife, and college age daughter) and my wife’s parents stayed here for a beach getaway. Owners were great with working with us. My father-in-law has Mobility issues and they worked with us to make sure he could access everything. We had TV issues. Owner fixed it quickly. (Lightning storm had fried some TV boxes). Clean, nice condo! Location is great. Direct beach access and close to town.

Weakend in Galveston

Went to Galveston for a long weekend with my parents (mid 70’s) and my husband and I (early 50”s). The condo was the perfect for the 4 of us. It was clean and was as described. The location is great, the view is beautiful and in the afternoon the balcony is shaded.

It rained the first 2 1/2 days, but after that the weather was very nice. Pool was nice and large, hot tubs were in good shape. Beach was nice and was pretty close to town. Staff was very attentive.Complex could use a paint job.

Great Girls' Trip

My sister and friend stayed here for 2 nights in March. The condo was the perfect size for us and we loved the close beachfront access! This stretch of beach was amazing- so many shells! The location was great- got the best of being on the West End without being too far from restaurants and grocery! Will definitely stay here again.

It was great. Just on the edge of town so it was quiet. And being right on the beach was perfect! The space worked for us and having 2 bathrooms was great. I had to ask a couple of questions and my emails were responded to quickly. We weren't thrilled we had to wear wristbands for our entire stay. Nobody once stopped us to see them and it seemed very unnecessary. We would stay again.

Extended My Stay

I originally scheduled this condo for a few days and ended up extending and staying for 8 days. I loved the location of this condo complex. Right on the beach, with low beach crowds. I had not stayed in this complex since 1997. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this complex is maintained. The pool and hot tubs were great. The unit itself was very cute, clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
