Make yourself at home at Blue Starfish where you are steps from the beach and even closer to amazing sunrise and sunset views from the spacious deck. Kids (and pets) will have plenty of space to play in the fenced back yard while you watch from the swing on the patio.

A bright open floor plan makes it easy to gather for family time whether it’s visiting, playing games, watching TV or enjoying a meal. The family room has a large TV, a DVD player and an electric fireplace for those chilly nights as well as free Wi-Fi and cable TV. There is dining for 8 at the table with an additional 4 stools at the counter. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans to help make mealtime easy. There are 2 12 cup coffee makers, a Keurig, a microwave, 2 toasters (4 slice and 2 slice), a blender, a hand mixer, and a crockpot.

Your vacation home can sleep up to 12 people. There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor – 2 with king beds and 1 with 2 full beds. The sleeping loft upstairs has a twin over full bunk bed and a twin daybed. Each of the 3 bedrooms is tastefully decorated to enhance your beach stay and include a TV. The bedroom with the 2 full beds also has a DVD player. Because the sleeping loft is open to the main floor, there is no TV in it. There is also a Pack 'n Play for those little ones.

After a day at the beach, you can shower off in the downstairs outdoor shower. You will also find a propane grill, picnic table, additional chairs and a fish cleaning table downstairs.

To help you settle in for your vacation, we provide a starter set up of coffee filters, 2 premeasured pouches of coffee (1 regular and 1 decaf), 6 K-cups, kitchen garbage bags (2), paper towels (1 roll), dishwasher soap (2 pods), a new sponge, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper (2 rolls in each bathroom), laundry soap (2 pods), dryer sheets (2) and liquid hand soap in the kitchen and bathrooms.

Fresh sheets and towels are provided, and, for your convenience, there is a washer and a dryer for your use. There is also an ironing board and iron provided. There are hair dryers in each of the two bathrooms.

To protect our beaches, Galveston does have some rules for the beach which need to be followed. Sea Isle is a pedestrian only beach which means that no motorized vehicles (golf carts, motor bicycles) are allowed on the beach. Open fires are not allowed on the beach. Anything left on the beach overnight will be removed by the City. Please stay off the dunes (there are rattlesnakes in them).

Please remember that you will be staying in someone’s home, so we ask that you please treat it with care and respect. As our home is in a family oriented neighborhood, we do limit guests to 12 (daytime and/or overnight) and do not allow events.

We had a wonderful stay at this Galveston property. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was excellent—close to the beach, and close enough to restaurants, and local attractions while still feeling quiet and relaxing.The check-in/check-out process was simple and hassle-free. The host was responsive, friendly, and provided clear instructions throughout our visit.We especially enjoyed spending time on the outdoor space and appreciated how well-maintained the property was. Our family had a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Galveston. Highly recommended!

We have stayed in many rentals on the west end of Galveston and I have to say the Blue Starfish rental exceeded our expectations. Check in was easy peezy. When arriving at the property the first thing we noticed was the huge open floorplan, super nice. The house was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. The owner is very prompt in replying to any messages or concerns. The stairs to the loft area are very steep which is understandable with the layout, just need to make sure the littles are very careful. Now to my favorite part which is the location.. there is a house in front of this one but it did not take away from the beautiful views of the ocean. Another super plus for us is that this property is right at a beach access point, so it was easy to walk right down to the beach and we had kids with us so we could visually see them walk back and forth from beach to house as needed for breaks from the sun or restroom. For us the location is prime! This was our favorite rental so far and we will be back. Kudos to the host. Beautiful home. Thanks for making our stay perfect :)

Great location and comfortable stay

Location was just what we were looking for with the ability to walk right out to the beach. The house itself as a great layout for our stay with multiple families and children. Great covered deck with view of the ocean. Very clean and comfortable beds.

Perfect Getaway

This is a gorgeous place that is about 1 minute away from the beach. It is a quiet end of the beach away from the crowds. The living area is large and the sleeping arrangements quite comfy. Enjoyed our stay immensely.
