Had a really great stay at Residence Inn. It was very close to the beach, was quiet, and much cleaner than I expected for such a lively area like Galveston (especially right after Spring Break). We were even allowed to check-in early which was a huge relief, and not something a lot of hotels will even try to accommodate. Would definitely recommend.

Breakfast buffet was very good. They had eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits / gravy, waffles, fruit, cereal, muffins…and probably some other food as well. Our room was very clean, super spacious, full kitchen, massive walk-in shower, and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed there before embarking on our cruise and getting an uber in the morning was quick and easy. It was about 6 minutes from the port.
