Top-Tier Host, Home, & Location!
There are so many positive things to say about this property!
I'll start with the host, Derek. From the time that I booked to the date of our departure, Derek was very responsive to any request made. He made us feel welcomed from the start.
The home was immaculate! One of guests arrived before I did. Immediately, I received a call from him gushing over the sheer beauty of the home. The interior decoration was elegant enough for royalty, yet simple enough as to not overwhelm. Everything was very clean, and Derek had several amenities, from coffee to cookware, available for our use. The balconies were large with great views. We enjoyed our evening conversations in total comfort due to the ceiling fans and furniture on the upstairs balcony. The only negative, if you want to call it that, was that the backyard pool was under construction. The pool was not mentioned in the listing, so it was not an inconvenience at all, nor was there work being done during our stay. Future guests are certainly in for a treat once it is completed.
Lastly, the location was absolutely perfect! The neighborhood, which was very tranquil, has it's own beach access points within a 3 minute walk of the home. We were also several miles from the hustle and bustle of the main Galveston Beach area, yet it was not a long drive to take the kids to the Pleasure Pier.
In summary, if you're considering this property, do yourself a favor and book it immediately. I can't wait to return again!
