Excellent location
This lovely condo is on the ground floor, perfect for someone with limited mobility, though there is a tall step to enter both front & back. I assume that it’s to prevent flooding as it is very close to the water. It’s a short walk to the Seawall, beach access, and several nice restaurants. There’s generous parking in the back so no need to search for street parking, big plus! I found this condo to be very clean & no sign of critters.The kitchen is fairly well stocked for cooking but drinking vessels are all plastic & I couldn’t find potholders anywhere. A trip to the dollar store got me a nice drinking glass for myself, and two potholders which I left for the next guest. Shower water pressure is very good & they did supply body wash, shampoo & conditioner, but apparently their housekeeping team did not tell them the pump was broken off on the shampoo. It was no big deal as I bring my own bathroom supplies. The bed was comfortable, slightly firmer than I prefer but still good. The biggest problem was no blackout curtain on the bedroom window & a very bright outside light with no way I could find to turn it off. It is good to have for safety as the cars are parked there, but it made it hard to sleep with no curtains to block the light. I loved the big closet & available hangers. Overall I would stay here again next time I go to Galveston.
