The pillows were way too hard. There was trash on the stairways most of our stay. Some let their dog out in the pool area it peed and pooped and the person wasn’t even there to clean it up. The rooms were not great!

This is my favorite Alvin hotel, mostly because there is a ceiling fan. Really helps with the humid weather and air flow. Plus it is quiet and has friendly staff.

I have never walked into a hotel and it smell so clean.!! The front desk person I could not understand that well but we got to our room. The elevator and hallways smelled clean. There was no smell of weed. Even my teenager commented about it. Beds were comfy…the room was already nice and cool. Would def stay here again!!

This hotel was dirty, smelly, and dank. The tv didn’t work and the staff didn’t care. We could only stay in the room for about 30 minutes and then we decided to change hotels. I wouldn’t reserve a room here unless you inspect the room first.

The hotel and room itself felt stuffy, hot, humid. I noticed there was what appeared to be an air purifier or something in the room to help with the humidity. As soon as you walk into the hotel, it smells moldy. The shower water had a weird smell to it. The breakfast was ok, standard. They were out of waffle batter, syrup, and coffee, all which were later replaced. I would stay somewhere else in the future.

Mold and mildew saturated rooms caused us respiratory issues dry cough, swollen nasal passages, headache, irritation in our throats . They use heavy cleaners to mask it , rust and mold mildew in bathrooms, pool fences very loose . Health hazard!!!!

The grass in front of the motel badly needs to be mowed. Bad curb appeal for the potential customer. The American flag flying on the flagpole is extremely frayed and needs replacing. It’s disrespectful to the American flag. Absolute average experience. Can’t recommend this particular hotel.

Staff could have been friendlier. The room was clean but had a musty smell to it. We put AC on high fan and the smell got better. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good. All in all a good stay. Would recommend.
