The staff we encountered were great. Friendly and prompt with check in. Out only complaint was that the AC was very loud when it started up and shut off - sounded like it was going to explode. It was just one night stay, so we didn’t make a big deal about it. However would be the only reason it didn’t get 5 stars.

Room was clean but had a humid musty smell. This seems to be very common with hotels in the area. I've stayed at the La Quinta and I've also stayed at a Holiday Inn in Manvel. All of them have this same musty, humid smell in the room. Also, the coffee pot in the room was broken. Other than that, it was a nice hotel.
