Staff is nice, can’t complain about that. The first room I was given smelled like fresh cigarette smoke. Called the desk and they moved me. Second room was ok, only faint odors of cigarette smoke covered up by some air freshener. It was late so I decide to keep the room. Wake up to take shower and realize the bath drain was very slow so had water to just above my ankles by the time I was done.

Room was nice, warm, quiet & private. It had coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave and ironing board with iron. Television was a good size for easy viewing. But it could use a paint job on the hotel sign as it is faded and hard to see that it's a Howard Johnson hotel.

Did not have time for breakfast. Lighting in the parking area was non existent. Seal around the front door was poor. Shower handle was very hard to turn on and off. The room appeared to be clean. Staff seamed to be very pleasant. Price was very reasonable.

I work nights and need to sleep during the day, the room that faced the inside of the building was great. No light coming in, and super quiet. The only downfall was the heater took a bit to heat the room up.

Dirty. Lobby bathroom is falling apart. Uncomfortable beds. Needed a quick stay overnight. The patio doors are two way glass giving you the illusion you cant see into the rooms, but when the lights are on you can see everything from the outside. However, you cant see out from the insid. Be warned. Its the opposite of what it should be, close the drapes its the perfect peeping tom scenario. They see everything and you see nothing. Seems super fishy. Noisy ad hell too.

The beds were nice and new, and the towels were clean. They had really cool metal statues artwork that sold for $8K-$45K in the lobby… everything else needs lots of work! The carpet is old and needs to be replaced, the breakfast was gross and breakers blew as we waited to even get drinks while a 1 person staff in a huge hotel ran back and forth to flip the switch…. In his winter jacket that he wore all night & morning long because obviously the very old, once very nice hotel is trying to save money at all cost.
