The El Rancho Hotel is a historic Hotel. That’s part of the charm. Lot’s of history. Rooms are a little on the small side but clean. beds are comfortable. The restaurant did not meet our expectations. Still, if you like some western nostalgia, this is the place to stay.

We loved our stay at Hotel El Rancho! Such a charming place and the staff was wonderful. On our way from the east coast to California so grabbed dinner at the restaurant and it was fantastic. By far our most favorite hotel this road trip.

Staff slow at check in. 1 clerk. 1 customer ahead of me. I waited 15 minutes. Appetizers from attached restaurant good quality. Street noise on first floor.

I enjoyed the history of this hotel very much. It is very big on being gimmicky on the secondary building. Staff is amazing, friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the a/c system was not working in the entire building and our first night was very warm and uncomfortable even with the ceiling fan on highi, that only circulated the warm air. The a/c was fixed the next day and was comfortable but the next couple of nights to my stay were colder and then I found out the heating system also didn't work. The shower is dangerously slippery because the shower floor is tile. Myself and my lady both slipped in the shower multiple times. We will never stay at this hotel again. Also who thought it was a good idea to have an a/c vent inside the shower. The entire time in the shower you have condensation dripping on you off of the dirty ceiling. You are better off staying at other hotels. Friendly, helpful staff and gimmicks don't make a great hotel.

The staff was very nice and this place is a must see even if not staying at this hotel. We were really surprised when we walked in, it’s a lodge you would see at the Grand Canyon, with a lot of history. It has a nice large gift shop, and restaurant, and bar area you can dine in, a gem of a place.

The property had a vintage feel to it not like your ordinary modern hotels. It was absolutely enchanting, the room we stayed in Marxs brother's suite was perfect except for the shower, the drainage was not draining properly. And the room was not hunted as people had told me. It was peaceful spacious and beautiful. We will stay they again for sure.
