This hotel is totally non-customer friendly. They don’t have any customer care. I did not stay, I left to find other accommodations. It starts with someone on a video screen who speaks broken English then goes downhill from there.

Only a tv screen to greet with a person who spoke unclear English. Not elevator, no room guidance, no one except other guests to decipher the broken English. $50 was taken as deposit and not returned even though I only slept in the room. I felt violated and was happy to leave.

The 1st room smelled like heavy cigarette smoke. After lugging our bags up to the 2nd floor, we weren’t too happy about having to switch rooms. Both rooms could use serious updating, the toilet ran constantly, the linens didn’t look fresh, they had no tea bags and the bed was lumpy and caved in. There were sketchy people standing outside by the door panhandling. I won’t be staying here anymore.

Virtual check in was weird. I prefer a more personal interaction. It was especially difficult since the guy had a strong accent and the room was echoey. I had a hard time understanding all he was saying. He was polite, though. Not at all his fault.
