Villa Nabben - strong pines, lakeview and beach

Summary:

Inspired by Nordic barns, we have created a house that fits especially in the blueberry slopes by the lake of Rånnaväg. For the design conscious, this villa is something out of the ordinary. Villa Nabben is minimalist, with a strong sense of material and a spirit of timelessness. Suspended eaves, windows and doors with narrow trim and moldings add to the special character of the house. The Space:

The villa is a new construction in a very unique location, directly on the lake. The headland (Nabben) with the blueberry garden and your own sauna is your very private retreat for your time. The house has a large kitchen with plenty of space to cook together. The living room with fireplace and 6 meter high ceiling invites you to let the evenings fade away. The entire length of the house towards the lake is placed the 20 meter wide terrace with outdoor kitchen. The spacious bathroom on the first floor with bathtub and shower give next to the bathroom upstairs enough space to get out of the way in the morning. Two bedrooms are also downstairs with patio doors onto the terrace facing the lake. Upstairs are three more bedrooms for nighttime retreats.

The entire house has wood flooring with underfloor heating that is highly efficient with a differential air source heat pump.



Guest Access:

The entire house and garden with sauna house and private access to the lake are your kingdom. The sandy beach is within easy walking distance. A total of 3 cars have space on the property.



The Neighborhood:

There are four other holiday homes belonging to very quiet Swedish owners in the immediate vicinity. Please drive slowly along the 300-metre forest driveway to the house and say hello, then you will always be greeted warmly :)

Less than a five-minute walk away, there is also a large public sandy beach with a jetty, bathing ladders and a sunbathing lawn.



Getting Around:

The nearby town of Ulricehamn (to the north) offers a lively atmosphere with good restaurants, cafés, and bars.



For fishing enthusiasts: the lake can be fished with a valid fishing permit, available at the local tourist information office or online via iFiske. We are happy to provide a canoe. Motorboats can be booked as an optional extra and add even more enjoyment on the water.



For hikers, we have several maps available on-site, including regional topographic maps, local hiking maps, and a lake chart for Åsunden.



For daily groceries, Gällstad is about 10 minutes away. If you’re interested in shopping, Gällstad also features a large outlet center. Ulricehamn is approximately 16 km away.

After your booking, you will also receive a link to our digital house manual, which includes all important information about the house, arrival, sauna, boats, and the surrounding area.



We respect your privacy and space. You will have the entire villa to yourselves and will not be disturbed during your stay.



At the same time, we are always reachable if needed. Before arrival, you will receive all important information for a smooth check-in and stay. During your visit, we are available via messages to assist with any questions or issues.



We won’t be present on-site unless specifically requested or necessary. Our goal is to give you a calm, private stay with reliable support in the background.
