We stayed in the river side 2 bedroom cabins. It was absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful, very convenient for West Yellowstone entrance only a 30 minute drive.
Food at McGills was great and the staff was friendly. We really like liked our server we had a few times, can’t remember her name but she’s from Wisconsin. Cabins are spacious. My Dad uses a wheelchair in the evenings and although it was tight he was still able to go through out the cabin and also squeeze into the bathroom.
We spent 2 days at 320 ranch and it wasn't enough. We had intended to do some riding but I didn't heed the warnings to book early and every ride was booked up. This was September on a Tuesday and Wednesday. This area doesn't really have a down time so book early!
The cabins are great. The beds are comfortable, the bedding was very nice, everyrhing was new and clean.
The cabin is comfortable and quiet.
The highlight was the staff, everyone was happy, pleasant and ready to help.
If you like to fly fish the resort has at least a quarter mile of frontage on the Gallatin river. They also have a stocked pond you can fish. They teach fly fishing on the pond.
Theres a pro shop on site to give you info on whats biting and what flys to use. I think they can set you up with what you need as well.
This is a working ranch and you will see the hands moving 30 or so horses from pasure to pasture. They are all pros and its a pleasure to watch them work, we made it a point to watch them moving horses every morning. 320 is located an hour from West Yellowtone and the park entrance. In the other direction Its about 25 minutes from Big Sky.
They have lots of activities for kids, we will be back with the rest of the family next year.
All I can say, is that if you are around this Ranch, book it. So unique and fun. We only stayed one night, but loved the 2 berm cabin. They give you wood to have a fire in the fireplace if you want it. The breakfast was delicious. Lots of choices. I highly recommend staying here. We loved it!
The beautiful mountain view and the surrounding river were among the pleasantly surprised upgrades of my first time reservation at the 320 Range Hotel. The room is spacious and beddings are clean and comfortable. The staff is courteous, friendly, and helpful. The continental breakfast were very nutritious and delicious, exceeding my expectations. McGrill restaurant was super, in terms of quality of its dishes and atmosphere for a fine dining experience.
The ranch is so beautiful and nestled around mountains, it a Great relaxing place to stay. I came to the ranch to work a styled shoot and the next day I went through Yellowstone Park because I was so close.
This was very convenient to different entrances of Yellowstone , as well as the airport. We loved the fresh breakfast every morning and lots of delicious food at the restaurant McGills .
The property was beautiful and very homey . The room we had was very clean and I felt very relaxed and comfortable. I would love to go back to the ranch again sometime, and will definitely recommend to friends and family .
The ranch is very pretty and peaceful and the food at McGills restaurant was very good. We had a great instructor for a fly fishing lesson on their stocked trout pond, with all equipment provided. Sadly the horseback rides were booked 2 weeks ahead when I tried to schedule it. There’s not much else to do in the area except hiking. We visited Big Sky and Yellowstone from the ranch.
Great place for a access to Yellowstone. Free breakfast was a 10. We question if this was for us because we were all above 70 year old, but it was great. There no where else we would stay.
Horseback riding was great! About 35 min drive to west entrance of Yellowstone. Fly fishing options on property. Friendly staff. Restaurant on property was convenient but would be nice if could stay open a little later. We would come back to 320 Ranch if ever in the area again.
Everyone was friendly and our cabin was clean and well stocked. Horseback riding was great and David was a great riding instructor. Only complaint would be the pricey dog fees. We take the dogs 3x per year to hotels, and this was more expensive than anywhere prior. Also, when i mentioned the photo showed a TV and wanted to show the front desk girl at checkout, she dismissed me and wpuldnt look up. That was a little weird since the first night it rained, and we were hoping to watch a movie after the 11hr drive. Overall great experience though and would stay again.
