As always easy check in. Gentlemen was friendly & courteous. Entrance area very nice. My room was clean and had all essentials needed for my stay. Only downside was no bottled water only beer & soda for sale in their cooler. But everything else was great!

I stayed at this motel only because I only knew I was coming to Galesburg 10 days earlier so I had no option for a location nearby. Some of the motel guests seemed to be living there, and I felt somewhat unsafe, especially as the staff seemed uninterested in anything beyond being at the front desk talking to friends online. The access to this motel is through a McDonald's or a gas station parking lot. While the room itself was clean and adequate, TV access was limited to networks, religious broadcasts and commercial product promotions. All in all, my assessment above, as Okay, is generous.

The beds were so nasty, had ALOT of hair on them like nobody changed the sheets at all. The tub water didn’t go down, it felt so disgusting I didn’t even wanna sleep there. I asked for sheets to make one bed clean for me & my kids, I’m a housekeeper myself so I know all these things i definitely check, it sounded like a cricket was in my room all night on top of everything. Just terrible HONESTLY. After a long drive nobody wants to sleep in filth, never again.

Good BUT

It was a good stay, still currently staying . Hallways could be better clean and trash builds up outside . I’m just a little frustrated that ownership did not discuss they would be spraying the pavement with new asphalt. The company they hired sprayed right next to my car and around while I was at work instead of communicating beforehand that operations was going to be taken place in their parking lot . No Compensation or at the very least a sorry or car wash. Just frustrated because this could’ve been avoided.

This motel is obviously old and in need of a remodel. The lady at the front desk was nice and professional yet small town way. It was clean for as old as it is, but my room did have ants. I can tell the staff is doing the best they can with what they have. I would have liked to have an iron in the room.

Great staff but needs renovating

The staff were great but our room left much to be desired. The dead bolt was missing part of it so it didn't work, and all you had to do was turn the door handle to exit the room (we had a toddler with us so this was a nightmare to secure him). One of the mattresses coils was shot on the left side so i felt like i was going to roll out of the bed the whole time. The breakfast was small but nice, but no chairs or tables to really sit outside the room to eat.
