Have already booked house for spring break next year. Loved the layout, with main bedroom on main floor, fun activities downstairs and bedrooms for kids upstairs. Plenty of room and everything was very comfortable everyone had space to spread out and be on their own, but we had space to come together. Loved that deck was enclosed so our dog could enjoy being outside. Kitchen and bathrooms were best stocked/supplied of anywhere we have stayed. I usually take my own kitchen utensils and wash clothes places, but i wont need to next year. I love the extra card tables we could pulll out and use for board games we brought (although they supplied games as well). Games downstairs were all in working order and great variety. Location was great. We walked to owners club everyday, and we found a great walking trail close by, not to mention golf course was walking distance and because we go in off season we walk the cart paths. All in all, great location and space and cant recommend enough.

conviently located near the club house for inside pool. nice drive from property to galena. fire pit was one of our highlights of the stay. tv did loose connection a few times during our stay. we only watched tv at the end of the day to calm the kids prior to bedtime. Keurig stopped working the day we were leaving. so, a couple of minor things which did not affect our overall satisfaction of the property.

Great set up with lots of extras! Location cant be beat and the game room is a hit for the kids. Extra blankets, coffee, towels and toiletries all there! Will definitely rent again! Thank you for making our getaway easy!

Loved this house! We’ve rented numerous other houses for our Galena stays and this one was our favorite. It had everything- hot tub (was wonderful), pool table and games, fully stocked kitchen, fire pit and sun room we enjoyed very much. Easy 15 min ride to galena so location was perfect!

Well maintained house. Furnishing were comfortable. House was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. This house offered a hot tub. Also a screened in porch with a fire table which made a cozy place to sit and have coffee. Basement had pool table, darts, shuffle board and air hockey table plus other games. Kids loved the basement area.

This property is one of out family favorites. We have stayed in this house several times now for out annual Labor Day family getaway. We actually booked again already for our Labor Day 2026 family trip. We love the game room. The kids and adults are down there a lot making lots of fun family memories. Plus it is dog friendly too so we all get to be together.

Absolutely the best place we’ve ever rented! Spotless. Short walk to club house with pools (indoor & outdoor). And the indoor pool and basketball court came in handy the one day it rained all day. Plus there are plenty of games in the basement of this house to keep 4 grandkids (ages 6-10) busy. Never heard the words “I’m bored” for the whole week. Plenty to do close by. We went to Crystal Caves, Chestnut Mountain, and Hoof it with Goats.

There was plenty of space to hang out but also have some quiet time too. The house had everything we needed from kitchen amenities to hot tub towels. The game room was amazing for the kids. A great location by walking trails and community pool that was relaxing but close to town too. We would stay here again and recommend!

Cougar’s Retrreat

Great accommodations - we hung out at the nearby pool, enjoyed a concert at the marina, shopped and ate out in Galena, relaxed and reminisced at this beautiful house. We especially enjoyed the three seasons room and the firefly light show after the storm!

Beautiful home in a serene place

The home was as described! Clean and beautifully decorated. Ample room for us to enjoy multilevel home. Game room was exactly what we needed and the hot tub did not disappoint. We will definitely be staying here again.
