Had a nice welcome and stay. The room was comfortable and clean with a lift as it was on the second floor. The restaurant was nice and the menu seemed good, however neither of us really enjoyed the meal which was over prepared was a shame. The food had either been kept too long before serving or just overcooked.

The room was small and strangely laid out so it made it feel smaller but the bathroom and shower were lovely also it’s got an amazing view out over the water! The breakfast was… strange. we had to wait to be seated and once we were shown to a table we were told it was all self serve which I thought was pretty funny. Also they were playing electronic dance music during and the average age of the room was close to 80. Had a laugh at least. Oh and the food was horrid.

The staff were wonderful for our stay in Gairloch. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and our room was very comfortable. Being there at the end of the season had its limitations and the hotel is in need of some basic repairs.
