Montefiorile is a peaceful hillside hamlet in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, set within one of Tuscany’s most beautiful landscapes. The holiday homes are arranged along a sunny south-facing slope and enjoy sweeping views across rolling hills carpeted with vineyards. Each property has its own private garden or terrace and features traditional terracotta floors and ceilings that reflect the warm, authentic Tuscan style. The layout of the hamlet has been carefully planned so that beautiful views unfold from almost every corner. Mature oak trees provide welcome shade during the heat of the day, while the shared pool offers a refreshing escape. In the evenings, the surroundings become wonderfully calm, with wildlife emerging and stars glittering in the dark sky. Montefiorile is car free, with a large parking area at the entrance, and due to its hillside setting, steps lead to each holiday home. To preserve the tranquil atmosphere, we recommend this hamlet especially for adults seeking a quiet and relaxing holiday.



The picturesque village of Lecchi lies just 1.5 km away and can be reached on foot via a well-maintained, gently hilly path. Here you will find the excellent Ristorante Malborghetto and a small but well-stocked grocery shop. Another charming village within walking distance is San Sano. The medieval town of Radda in Chianti, with shops and good restaurants, is about 8 km away. Set in the heart of the Chianti Classico wine region, Montefiorile is surrounded by wineries offering tastings, including Castello di Ama less than 2 km away and Castello di Brolio, reachable in around 25 minutes by car. Siena, Arezzo and Florence are all great options for memorable day trips.

Pesci is a charming semi-detached cottage with a raised, furnished terrace, perfect for relaxing outdoors and enjoying leisurely meals while admiring the postcard-perfect views of the Chianti landscape. A pretty garden with a private hot tub offers additional space to unwind. Inside, wooden ceiling beams and terracotta floors combine with beautiful furnishings to create a warm and homely atmosphere.

Beautiful location

Such a pretty location, very peaceful. The scenery is amazing and it’s ideally located for visiting other tourist destinations. There is a charge for using facilities like jacuzzi and aircon. I’d rather this was included in the overall price as we felt restricted in using these facilities for fear of extra cost. Most places would just charge life to cover these basic facilities. Other than that we enjoyed our stay here.

Excellent accommodation in a small hilltop resort

We really enjoyed our stay here. The semi-detached one bedroom cottage is extremely will appointed with absolutely everything you could possibly need. The kitchen and bathroom looks to have been recently replaced to a good standard. The view from the raised terrace is stunning and the new sunbathing area behind the property is a great idea giving you two very pleasant areas to relax and take in the views. it was nice to get a bottle of water, wine and olive oil as a welcome gift, and it was nice to see that the place had a supply of cleaning products, dish washer tablets etc left for us to use. You can walk to Leechi and San Samo a number of ways (30 to 45 mins depending on route) and they have restaraunts and shops so you don't have to drive. A couple of vineyards are walkable too if you fancy that. The nearest supermarket is 15-20 mins away in Radda and is small but has a reasonble selection but it is super expensive. The description of the property led us to believe that the borgo was adults only however this was not the case. The pool area is very nice and the pool large never too busy. All in all highly recommended!

Landschaftlich sehr sehr schön. Zwecks Versorgung, muss man sich gut organisieren, da die Wege meist sehr weit sind. Zu Fuß fast nicht zu erreichen und mit dem Auto meist 10 km entfernt. Die Straßen sind abenteuerlich.

Eine wundervolle Woche in traumhafter Gegend

Eine schöne Ferienanlage in absolut ruhiger Umgebung. Leider ist die Anfahrt über eine längere Schotterstrecke erforderlich.
