We loved our stay at Yearling - we only wished we could have stayed longer. The history was amazing. The restaurant was so good. I loved the camp fire. The hostess was too kind to us. When we return next year we hope to stay again.

It was a very good stay. Comfortable bed, quiet room, and it’s convenient to have the restaurant next door. My only complaints are that the tile floor in the room was swept, but needs mopping and the shower head needs replacing. The sprayer doesn’t spray out of the middle, just the sides.

My cabin was a step back in time. Everything was clean and maintained, except the door lock. I could not get my door to lock from the inside, but there was a security latch at the top that I used instead of the deadbolt. I was satisfied with my stay. The room had a slight musty smell that might bother someone with allergies, but the air conditioning made it quite tolerable for me.

I loved the cabin and the area near the creek - quite peaceful and lovely, especially at night with all of the twinkle lights. The staff were amazingly lovely. There was an odd metal dental pick stuck in the chair, a dead roach on the floor in the middle of the room, there isn't much water pressure in the shower and the wifi nor cell service worked at all, and you can hear every single thing your neighbor does in their cabin. The restaurant was wonderful - live music, cool gift shop, but they were out of grits and potatoes. The salmon was excellent and the hush puppies were the best I've ever had.
