The location of the Lonestar venue was excellent. It makes you feel like you were out in the middle of the woods. The building is very inviting and very handsomely decorated with landscaping and the interior is fabulous. It overlooks the lake and has a great view. The rooms are very comfortable and has everything you need. The staff was absolutely wonderful. They were friendly and helpful and welcoming. The marina is excellent and within easy walking distance. It’s just a really fun place to be.

This was our third visit to Lone Star Resort. Each time was better than the last. I am sure there will be a fourth time in the future. The environment is very peaceful and relaxing. The room each time has been perfect - clean, inviting, a feel of home away from home. The staff is amazing. Friendly, attentive and totally interested in the well being of the guests. These are just a small part of the reasons we keep returning. If you are looking for a place to just unwind Lone Star is the perfect option. Located on the shores of Lake Ray Roberts and nestled in the trees no better place could be found.

The property was lovely. It is in a state park, so it was very quiet and peaceful. The rooms appear to have been recently renovated. The room is small but perfect for our 2 night stay. Would stay again if in the area.

Room was clean, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. There is no restaurant on the property, and the food available at the marina is a long walk away. It’s a great place for a quiet retreat or for those who have a boat and enjoy fishing. I would stay again.

I made my reservation online. Maybe a map of your property would be helpful online so I would have known the location of different rooms to choose from. Unfortunately, the folks next to us were extremely loud all evening. This obviously was not your fault, but the walls must be very thin. We would definitely return to your property in the future if we are in the area.

The staff was wonderful!! We showed up late, but I had called ahead of time and they were nice enough to leave our room key where it was easy to access, and they even left the light on in the room for us. The room was clean and cozy, and the lake is beautiful!!! We were only there for a quick overnight, but I would love to go back and spend some time at the lodge and in the area. This was perfect for us, and definetely better than a run of the mill hotel room.

The staff was accommodating and kind. The room was very clean and well appointed, especially for the price. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The price was very affordable as well. We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in the area.
