The two women im kitchen were extremely rude and condescending. And lazy. They treated people horrible. Started cleaning up and taking food away at 8:30 even though breakfast is served until 9:00am. The front desk did nothing when I reached out to them. Multiple guests were not able to eat, including kids and they couldn’t care less. One of the women said “go next door, they have a big selection”. The rooms are nice and overall clean even though there is a moldy smell. They have a fridge and microwave, which it’s convenient. The surrounding area looks like a dump. Not going back to this hotel.

The lady that checked us in was friendly and nice. However the two women that run the kitchen are so rude and condescending! They surely know how to abuse the little power they have! Breakfast is advertised until 9:00am, yet there is not food since before 8:30am, and if you ask for food they would not bring it out, plus they tell people to go next door because they have a big selection. They were rude to multiple people including kids. I went to the front desk and the girl running it was useless (different one from check-in). I talked to the manager and he said he will talk to them. But still multiple people couldn’t eat, including some kids. When we checked out one of the women from the kitchen was running the front desk and seemed very annoyed and mad cause I asked her if checkout was automatic. The rooms are ok, and clean, they have a microwave and a fridge. Not going back since I just can’t stand the rudeness. There are many other options.

I was unable to stay at this Best Western on October 29,2025 even though I had booked the room ahead of time because they were experiencing computer issues that day and unable to honor reservations or walk in's. I felt bad for the young lady at the desk having to turn people away. She was apologetic and pleasant but the situation was out of her control.

With no accomodation rooms in Gainsville, this location was an option. What a surprise it was very nice, well maintained, clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and pleasant. We also saw other Gator fans staying here after the big football game. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Gainsville in the future.
