You could tell most of the staff didn't want to be there. The TV didn't work the entire time we were there and the girl who was doing the breakfast was rude and miserable; I get being a server is difficult - I worked in the service industry for 18 years - she's either burnt out or just naturally has a terrible attitude. Overall it's a shrug.

We are In the process of a refund. My wife and I got back to our room and cockroaches were present. I was able to kill one but not the other two that went into the wall. We checked out and never ended up staying there. I presented the gentleman at the counter the dead one in a tissue and he was very apologetic but he couldn’t refund on cancel it. Unfortunately all hotels in the area were sold out due to a concert. We ended up driving home 3 hrs and arriving at 4am.

The overall condition is older and not as well maintained as I would have expected. The rooms are small and the space limited. It faces a nearby interstate and highway noises come through. The price is at the lower end of the scale, so I guess the condition is aligned with the room cost. The real highlight was the breakfast, and it was quite good.
