Your vacation in the heart of the Gaillac wine region, one of the oldest in France. This corner of the Tarn is known as “Little Tuscany”; here, the landscapes are gentle and rolling, with vineyards, small woods, hills, and a narrow road winding through the fields… Come spend your vacation in Vors, a small traditional hamlet in the Gaillac region, not far from Castelnau-de-Montmiral, in the Land of the Bastides. You’ve surely heard of the medieval town of Cordes-sur-Ciel, or the Episcopal City of Albi, an UNESCO World Heritage Site? These gems are nearby, and exploring them will be the highlight of your vacation before you venture further afield to Grésigne, the Pays de Cocagne, and the fortresses of Penne or Puycelsi. In the summer, don’t miss the aperitif concerts at the winemakers’ estates—a highlight of the Gaillac wine region’s warm hospitality. This self-contained cottage, a former farmhouse in a small hamlet on the hills above Gaillac, is a 5-minute drive from town. It faces away from a small road that winds through the vineyards. Garden with a view of the Gaillac hillsides, courtyard, patio furniture, and barbecue. In this house, everything is spacious—even the hallways! This is how “Gaillacoises” were built in the late 19th century. First floor: large, fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, oven, induction cooktop, dishwasher, drip coffee maker + pod coffee maker…), living room (TV, sofa, armchairs), half-bath. Upstairs: 3 very spacious bedrooms, bathroom (also spacious, with a shower stall and double sinks), toilet - Bedroom 1: one 140x190 bed, two 90x190 single beds - Bedroom 2: one 140x190 bed, with a sofa and coffee table - Bedroom 3: one 140x190 bed, armchairs Air conditioning on the first floor. Upstairs, each bedroom is equipped with a mosquito net and a fan. Excess electricity will be billed after deducting the flat rate included in the rental.
