Great location. Clean but older deteriorating bathrooms. Good pool but not a lot of shade options. Restaurant options were overpriced. Given extreme heat I would’ve expected free water to refill water bottles. Bring your own cooler for traveling around the park and storing ice and cold drinks.

Property was old and dirty. The air conditioner was loud and the room was musty. I ordered chicken wings and it wasn’t completely cooked when it came out. The inside was still bloody so I sent it back to the kitchen. The whole location was overpriced for what you’re getting.

For the remote location the property was fine, however there were some definite downfalls. The dining options were very limited and overpriced for the quality. The hotel room itself was very noisy. There seemed to be very little if any insulation between my room and the room above me. The shower water never got warm. Overall, to be fair, it was a comfortable bed in the middle of the desert. Just manage your expectations.

Most notably, had housekeeping shortage that led to 2.5 hr wait before we could check in. Room itself was plenty adequate. Had a pool and many facilities we didnt grt a chance to use but would have if we had more time. Food wasnt cheap but was good and had a nice ice cream parlor with a lot of choices, was a hit with the kids.

Lovely hotel, terrible service

We spent one night at this hotel. It’s located in the heart of Death Valley, a beautiful location. The rooms have recently been renovated and were cute little cottages. You can however hear the people next door like they are in the room with you. The hotel has a much needed swimming pool. We found the service at this hotel to be terrible. Check in was fine but when we went to our one bedroom cottage we found the sofa bed had not been made up nor had we been given enough bedding for it. I rung them at 7pm and by 10:30 we were still waiting. The front desk stopped answering our phone calls and could not help. So after paying for a room for 4 people we only had enough bedding 3 and they were not concerned about this. We went for dinner at the last saloon bar, this was fine until one of the waiters spilt a beer down my son’s back. Whilst this was an accident, no apology was received and I would have expected a least a free drink. When it came to check out at 10:45am reception was closed. Very bad customer service. It was a lovely hotel in a great setting just a shame the service was so bad.

Nice accommodation

Nice accommodation. Our room was in a block at the far end of the site which was quiet and overlooked the coyotes on the golf course. Room consisted of two double beds and bathroom with a patio area. Very nice. There were a few dining options on site which were quite expensive but given the isolated location, it was to be expected. Overall, a nice place to stay.
