A localização é bastante boa e a vista é maravilhosa para o Funchal. A estadia foi satisfatória para as sete pessoas. Os quartos encontravam-se limpos, embora, por se tratar de uma moradia grande e aparentemente pouco utilizada, se notasse um cheiro a espaço fechado à chegada. Houve alguns contratempos com os banhos, uma vez que o sistema de aquecimento funciona com painéis solares e, devido à falta de sol, a água não aquecia adequadamente, pelo que foi necessário solicitar assistência técnica, tendo o problema sido posteriormente resolvido.
