REID'S GARDENS

Reid's Gardens is one of Funchal's most exclusive oceanfront residential condominiums, set in one of the city's most prestigious areas, with mature landscaped gardens and a location directly facing the Atlantic.



OUR FORMER RESIDENCE

Before becoming a Madeira Nests apartment, this was our own private residence. We remodeled it in 2019 for residential rather than short-term rental use, with an emphasis on quality, comfort, and long-term living.

SMOKING

Smoking is permitted outdoors only. Indoor smoking incurs an additional €150 cleaning fee.



The Neighborhood:

One of Funchal's most prestigious residential areas, between Reid's Palace and Savoy Palace on Estrada Monumental.

- Taxi stand, Uber, and Aerobus connections nearby.

- Most destinations in Madeira can be reached within about an hour by car.



Other Things to Note:

RESPECTFUL COMMUNITY

The building is home to permanent residents as well as visiting guests. No parties or loud noise are permitted. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Keep shared areas clean and dry.



REGISTERED GUESTS AND IDENTIFICATION

Only guests declared in the reservation may stay in the apartment. Valid identification is required for every guest. Undeclared guests carry a penalty of €300 per guest per night.



VISITORS

All visitors need to be declared to the host before entering the property. The building’s pools and other common areas are for registered guests only. Visitors may not use them.



CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. Check-out is by 11:00 a.m.



SHARED POOLS

The shared outdoor adult and children’s pools are not heated and are open 24 hours. Quiet hours remain from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Food, drinks and loud equipment are not permitted in the pool area. Please shower before swimming and dry off before leaving the pool area.

Balls are not permitted in the pool area. Please do not reserve sunbeds.



PETS

Pets are not allowed anywhere on the property.



REID’S PALACE HOTEL

The connecting door to Reid’s Palace Hotel is reserved for apartment owners and is not available to rental guests. Hotel facilities are separate from the apartment’s included amenities.
