Two couples staying for one week. Well located first floor apartment within 10 minutes walk of the market and shopping area. Steep last section on way back. The listing stays / shows a magnificent view of the sea. They are building a large apartment block, which now blocks that view from the balcony. Good sized apartment and kitchen is well provided. Some permanent residents invite their grandchildren over for a swim each day so noisy and disruptive. Would have been nice to have separate towels to use in the pool rather than small ones from the bathroom. Host picked us up from the airport for an agreed fee. This was very useful for an efficient check-in. Garage if you have a hire car. Pretty good value for money and would return there again if revisiting Madeira.
