Had a problem explaining to the staff at the front desk that my room was not ready when I arrived. It was night time and I came straight from the airport. I have to ask her to come with me to my room so she will understand. I was given a new room but my card key was not working. I was dragging my suitcases up and and down four times until I finally settled in my room.

Very bad service.

I got to the hotel around 11:am and asked the person at front desk if I could have an early check in. I was told check time was 3:00 pm. Hotel has no proper seating so I had to wait 4 hrs at the in-house restaurant. My room was extremly small. Front desk wanted to charge me 3000 yen for an extra key. Stay away.

Hotel is situated in a quaint part of Hakata, near the Hakata station. It is only a few minutes walk from the JR station. The area is close to a yakitori and ramen place. Hotel is extremely new and clean. Staff have a sufficient proficiency in English to help communicate with non-local patrons. Amenities are bountiful and everything is within reach when you need it. Overall, a great experience here and will definitely recommend this hotel to friends in the future .
