Stayed at IPV and overall had a really pleasant experience. The place is spotless, and the sea view is genuinely lovely, the kind you don’t get tired of. The whole hotel has a classic, slightly old-world charm. The only downside is that some of the furniture, like the sofas and beds, feels a bit dated. Maybe they’re keeping it that way to match the classic style, but a bit of updating wouldn’t hurt.
Breakfast was fairly good, no complaints there, but the dinner menu was honestly disappointing. We went to try it and ended up turning back ,just not worth it.
Service was great throughout, and the staff were warm and friendly. The spa was good as well; you do need to book ahead for massage treatments, but the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna are usually easy to access this time of year. The outdoor pool has a gorgeous view and is kept very clean.
There’s no private beach, but there is direct access to the beach from the hotel grounds, which is a big plus. And for the shopping enthusiasts, the Miramar mall is only about a 15 min walk or a 5 min drive, very handy.
Overall, a charming stay with a few quirks, but plenty of highlights.
