I loved this hotel. It’s Art Deco feel is great. Great staff, excellent service and really enjoyed the restaurant. Road outside was noisy with cars driving past. Not very relaxing by the pool because of this. Did have a good nights sleep though so it did quieten down at night. We used as a base for Sequoia NP, which was a good location for this.

Very pleasant stay after a day at Sequoia NP. Front Desk staff was very helpful with dinner options. They also told us we could park in the hotel lot instead of the gated area, thus saving us a $19 charge. The high ceilings are a nice touch and the bathroom is terrific!

3 nights at this fabulous boutique hotel in Visalia! Adds maybe 35minutes to getting to the Sequoia NP entrance versus staying in Three Rivers, but it is SO worth it. Large, clean rooms. Great rooftop restaurant for breakfast and dinners. Awesome showers. Super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent hotel for exploring Sequoia/Kings Canyon!!

We were never told there was a charge for parking. Big surprise when we checked out. Its redicules that they charge $19 for parking. Its not like this is LA and they just don't have the space.

Definitely not a five star. We checked in at 8:45pm and were told that the kitchen closed at 9:30pm. We went straight to the restaurant and were told that kitchen was closed. The manager told us we could choose just form 4 small plates. Then we checked the room. We were given a basement with no windows. Next to the electric room that makes noise. We asked to change room. This was denied. We were given a room that should not be used as a guest room. Definitely would suggest to avoid the hotel.

This is an old court building which was not intended as a hotel. We experienced inconvenience in many ways while staying in the hotel. it is ridiculously difficult to park our car and then to check in.

I loved this hotel. Such an interesting history. It is located in convenient walking distance to downtown. The interior is decorated beautifully in the art deco style. From the crisp cotton sheets to the high ceilings it’s all lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend.
