We loved our stay here with our kids. It’s in the perfect location to walk to Main Street. They delivered breakfast every morning which was always delicious, and we also enjoyed the pool and patio area. Room was clean and the beds were so cozy after a long day of walking. The staff was always courteous and quick to assist or answer any questions. Will stay here again!

This was our first time at the Winchester Lodge, but it will not be the last! The staff was very accommodating and the service was top notch. The room was exactly as the website showed and the aroma when we walked in was wonderful! It is not your “run of the mill” hotel. It is a cottage feel and close to all the shopping. The breakfast that they leave outside your room is such a personal touch! We loved our stay and will be back!!!

By far, my favorite place I've stayed in Fredericksburg. If I were to tweak one thing, it would be breakfast. Just a bit on the simple side. But for the location its perfect. The staff was amazing. And the room, well it made my wife cry when she opened the door. Highly recommend.

We went for An Anniversary getaway and it was a very peaceful and beautiful property. Its a half block off main street but everything is defiantly walkable. Its a place we will come and stay again. There are many different rooms to choose from. We choose suite 1 and loved it. Has a pool and a sit area where you can relax and have a glass of wine or whatever you choose and a fireplace for those cold nights. Can't say enough about this wonderful property.

Beautiful place to stay! The ladies on reception were incredibly friendly and kind—nothing was ever too much trouble. A real highlight was the picnic basket delivered to our room every morning, which was absolutely delicious. The pool area was stunning, with fresh towels provided daily, and there was a lovely open fire nearby where you could sit in the evening and truly relax. We also had a complimentary wood delivery to our room from the lodge, which was a lovely touch to ]use in the fireplace in the evenings. The room itself had everything you could need, spacious, spotlessly clean with daily housekeeping, and well-equipped with a microwave, fridge, and a huge, luxurious shower. We had such a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning!
