The cabin was perfect for a relaxing weekend. My favorite part was the rocking chairs on the back porch. There is a beautiful view of the canyon in the backyard. At night the stars are bright and the wind was gently blowing. We had dinner one night at the Alamo Cafe. It's convenient and has great food. Fredericksburg is a short distance to drive for local restaurants, events, and shopping.

Perfect getaway

Everything was perfect for our anniversary getaway! So many thoughtful touches throughout the property that made it feel inviting and comfortable. We especially enjoyed feeding the deer that came to the back gate each evening. I appreciated the cleanliness of the property as well; I am a complete clean freak and this cottage definitely lived up to my standards.
Our sweet girl, Maddie, also enjoyed her stay!
We made a lot of friends with the locals.
