I’ve stayed at Hilton Garden Inns in many states. This is the first time I was disappointed. When we arrived for our reservation, the staff at the counter seemed annoyed and would not look at us. We checked in and went to our room which seemed nice on the surface but the chair in the living room had a large stain on the seat that appeared to be urine. The shower head was detached from the wall and so was the spigot so we could not get the water to turn off completely. The final straw was the mattress. It was so bad that we cut our trip short and drove home to Ohio so we didn’t have to go through another night in that bed. I really like the Hilton brand but this property has a lot of room for improvement.

Nice stay with great service

We arrived well before check-in, but Jhalea was gracious enough to find ready rooms, which was fantastic after 4 days on the Appalachian Trail. Rooms were everything you expect from the chain, clean, comfortable and well-maintained. My only minor complaint is that the laundry room requires you to download an app to wash/dry clothes - no way to pay cash. Then you have to ask for your unused balance back through the app. Convenient for the hotel but a pain for the traveler.
