I have visited New Zealand many times and stayed at many places during my various trips. But this time was different. Why? Because i booked a room at Rainforest Deluxe and was met with a beautifully appointed cabin that looked out onto the temperate rainforest surrounding it. The room had top notch inclusions including a Nespresso coffee machine, a microwave, kettle, toaster and crockery for two. The quality of the amenities was also top notch, as were the duvet and pillows ... everything was perfect. The cabin was essentially new, so everything was clean and in next to new condition. The service was also great. All in all, a fantastic place to stay.

This is the second time I have stayed at this property.i have only stayed here because of pets being allowed.it is a fantastic property with all facilities you would expect can't rate it enough,will stay there again next time I'm on the west coast

Good option for Franz Josef Glacier. Large complex, we stayed in one of the "treehouse" units. Nice but small. Older folks with large suitcases avoid these, the steps are wet in the rain and steep. Bathroom had heated floors, always a treat. Restaurant was nothing fancy but ok.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom delux treehouse that included our own hot tub. The full kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. The property even included a laundromat. It’s conveniently located within walking distance to multiple restaurants and activities.

Can not recommend this accommodation highly enough from location, design, privacy, staff and amenities. Quick, friendly greeting by three staff. A map to show us to our Deluxe accommodation.undercover parking, leafy outlook, upstairs to deck and suite. Umbrellas provided in cute ceramic gumboots. Coffee pod machine, a varied selection of teas and sachet coffee. Toaster & kettle. Heated floor and towel rail in bathroom . Double size shower cubicle. Glad we booked a dining table, as it was super busy. Pity one lady barely let us stand up before putting her jacket on my husbands seat. Poor staff had to be firm with her about prior reservations. Staff worked tirelessly and with a smile throughout the evening. A very relaxed and chilled stay. The mist on the mountain and glistening rain shining from the lush under storey was delightful to witness from our suite. Thank you.

The room itself was amazing! Beautiful and high end. The bonus of the barrel sauna across from our room was lovely. The big disappointment was the deplorable condition of the hot tub. It is cracked and broken, none of the jets work and was only warm. The hot tub did not meet my expectations at all. It needs to be replaced ASAP.
