One night in Franz Josef

It was just a one night stop. The Montrose was ok really, it was far from new and without any bells and whistles but it seemed pretty clean and the staff seemed to care about the place.

GreatsightsのFranz Josef Glacierバス停まで歩いて少しのところにあります。 キッチン(冷蔵庫、電子レンジあり)があります。 ちなみに07:30からの無料朝食は、パンとジュース(ハム類、卵料理やスープは無し)の簡易版です。

The room was clean and comfortable- the tv was a nice addition to the room. Kitchen was well kept and the size seemed reasonable for the number of folks staying. Biggest drawback that essentially ruined our stay was that the floors and walls are so thin, we were kept up most of the night by late arrivals (10pm and midnight) then again by people getting up early (5am).

This was a very well maintained property and all amenities were available, again very well kept for a small town and budget stay! Very impressed and will recommend than shelling out a lot more on other hotels around, the views and access to towns, transport etc are the exact same.

很不錯的住宿

住的是雙人房房型，所以安排在另一棟。去過背包客棧那邊看過一下，那邊感覺設施比較舊一點。 住宿提供的wifi穩，熱水水壓都很穩。 地段也不錯，在yha的對面，坐公共交通很方便。去餐廳，超市走路都是數分鐘而已。 早餐跟一般背包客棧，都是提供簡單的麵包配果醬，玉米片牛奶這樣。 綜觀是比一般的背包客棧好，浴室廁所都很乾淨。 唯一美中不足是hot pool in maintenance ，沒有機會用到hot pool。

首先到埗後走廊有一陣陣怪味，之後進房間又有另一種怪味。房間又很細，晚上睡覺要把行李塞住門口才有床睡覺。另外，他們的洗衣機洗完後，完全濕，是濕到不停滴水，而且乾衣機轉了2個小時，還是全濕而且沒有熱力，最後我要跑去街尾的自助洗衣店。最後，床有跳蝨,OMG

We had stayed here before 3 years ago - They offered Soap in the evening and A basic Breakfast ( Toast etc ) in the Morning This was a nice touch and appreciated - Forward 3 years and the Soap after inspecting the fridge it was stored in we elected to pass this - Breakfast was verbally advised to us 7.30 am - We were there in expectation but after a wait decided to travel on - Sad really - On a positive the room was clean and well presented Reception Staff was pleasant and plenty on on site Parking - Negative is in the Review

Nothing fancy but and okay place to stay

The Montrose is a fine place to stay if you're not looking for anything fancy. The place was clean and the staff were friendly. There are no tv channels, but they do have movies you can 'rent' and return. Just note that the complimentary breakfast is just bread to make toast, coffee and some cereals - its a bit scarce and not very filling if your planning to go do lots of activities during the day.
