"We had another fantastic visit in the mountains of West Virginia and Monterey VA. We had everything we could have ever imagined needing for a special family get together. We were so comfortable with plenty of room and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the hot tub on a rainy afternoon - sat back and watched the deer with their fawns and hawks too - so relaxing and calming. Hope to return soon!"

"Our stay at the Thorn Creek Cottage was outstanding! We grilled everynight, spent a lot of time outside in the fabulous yard/surrounding area, and hiked in the connected wilderness area. The kitchen has everything needed and the house and furnishings are beautiful. Our host was very gracious with good communication. Enjoyed our stay very much - thank you!"

"My husband and I stayed in this little home to use as a base for exploring the Seneca Rocks-Dolly Sods-Spruce Knob area. The house is very clean and comfortable, and is stocked with everything you’ll need. It has a gorgeous view of Seneca rocks. The location is quiet and secluded. There is a large covered patio area with grill and blackstone griddle and comfortable seating (and a friendly neighborhood cat visits regularly). The sound of the creek nearby completes the relaxing experience. The owner was very easy to communicate with and answered any questions quickly. Would 10/10 recommend this for families and couples alike! You will not be disappointed to use this as a base for your adventures in this gorgeous area of West Virginia!"
