The space
Enjoy our 2,100 sf, three-level, custom-built mountain cabin! Every space has been designed in unique and wonderful ways, to maximize its use. Details like vaulted metal ceilings, amazing custom lighting, audio speakers in virtually every room, fully stocked kitchen...... And then the amazing outdoor areas, with the wrap around deck equipped with rocking chairs, table and chairs with umbrella shade, and that amazing 5-person hot tub. With the 4-burner grill and rustic fire pit - you'll find you have it all at Awenasa! There is also a fun shed that has another covered deck area with outdoor tv, great for relaxing or watching a game.

Other things to note
Our property directly borders Nantahala National Forest so we enjoy breathtaking, unspoiled mountain and forest views! Great for birdwatching and sightings of wild turkey, deer, and even the occasional black bear. Also, to our east, we view farmland and barns, even a winding creek in the valley below. The best of both peaceful worlds - farm and mountain forest!
Location:
We are about a mile into a quiet neighborhood, conveniently located about 10 minutes from shopping and restaurants. Franklin has all the conveniences, with Ingles and commercial box stores and restaurants, but also the quaint historic downtown with its charming shops and dining. We are about 30 minutes north of the vibrant towns of Clayton, GA and Highlands, NC, too. Not to mention all of the outdoor activities this area has to offer! Waterfalls, great hiking, rivers, etc.
